Former Dancer Royal NZ Ballet
Graduating both as a dancer and teacher from NZSD before becoming a Dancer with the Royal NZ Ballet, Greer went on to be Senior School Tutor and Ballet Mistress to the fulltime company at “Southern Ballet and Dance Theatre” Christchurch, producing many nationally and internationally acclaimed dancers. She formed her own studios DanceWorld alongside choreographing over a dozen operas for Canterbury Opera, movement coach for Canterbury Opera Youth, performer and choreographer for multiple television series and devising a dance module for the tertiary institute N.A.S.D.A.
Within her events organisation, Greer choreographed and directed an enormous variety of styles of works including the Netball World Cup Opening and Closing ceremonies and Youth Variety Concert for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Extensive global travel in the cruise industry, followed magazine feature writing, years as a reviewer for The Press and more recently in Wellington, Theatreview.
As Founder/Director/Tutor of Body Mechanics, Greer became highly recognised in the sport arena when commissioned in 1993 to create a physical conditioning training programme for muscle-bound inflexible elite athletes. Vast numbers of teams and individuals gained her winning edge knowledge. For over a dozen years Greer also taught selected talent from all sports at the High Performance Sports NZ, Lincoln University.
